The Crashmate® Accident Evidence kit was first conceived in 1996 by the company's founder Sue Glenn.
Working as a legal professional dealing with litigation
over disputed Road Traffic Accident insurance claims, Sue realised
just how much time and money was being wasted
due to the lack of information provided by claimants.
The problem seemed to lie in two areas; firstly claimants not providing the right information, secondly, claimants providing false information. In either case the resultant delays in processing insurance claims could only lead to increasing costs, which would inevitably be passed on to car drivers in the form of increased premiums.
The solution seemed to be a kit that would both, remind drivers what information to record and provide photographic evidence to prove the information provided.
Many months of research and development, registration of Copyright and Trade Marks followed before Crashmate®, the UK's first Accident Evidence was born.
Now an established brand and in use by personal car drivers, company car drivers, fleet drivers, bus drivers, truck drivers, driving schools, insurance brokers and car rental companies Crashmate® has come of age.
Testament to how a great idea seems obvious after it is publicised our Crashmate® Accident Evidence Kit now has imitators but has never been bettered.
